Here we have a 1969 Chevy Camaro Copo clone. This car has been in private collection for the past 10 years. The person who built this Camaro spent 15 years looking for all the date code correct parts to make this car as date code correct as possible. The engine, trans, rear end, and body dates all correspond with the Jaunary built body. It cost over $15,000 just to get the rust free body that had all the original sheet metal. The body is covered in a slick Dusk Blue Paint. All the stainless was removed, cleaned, and polished. It has new bumpers as well as other new chrome installed. We believe all the glass is factory with the exception of the windshield that is new. When looking inside this Camaro it looks as it did in ’69. It is done in the correct dark blue scheme and features the correct seats. This car was a console delte car with the shifter being on the column. This car even retains the factory seat belts. All the lights, turn signals, and even dome light still work. When you look under the hood you will see a date code correct 427(date code Dec. ’68) mated to the 400 turbo trans and 12 Bolt rearend that also date Dec. ’68. When you look at the engine it has a date correct snow flake 427/425 HP intake along with the factory chrome valve covers. It has a Holley Carb and the engine has only 1K miles on it since it was rebuilt. It retains the factory bore. This Camaro has the correct Copo 427 Radiator along with Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. When you look at the floor pans and frame rails you will not be disappointed. It’s all factory metal and is very solid.
